How much does a Tesla Model Y Standard save over a gas SUV in Ontario? Plug in your kilometres and your own electricity rate. The gas price default is the latest Ontario average.
How I use it
I charge at home in Richmond Hill off a dryer outlet. The 15.4 kWh/100 km default is the published combined rating for the Model Y Standard; real-world winter use is higher, so bump it up for January. The all-in electricity default of 10¢ is only a placeholder; take the total from your bill (including delivery and HST) divided by kWh used. Maintenance defaults are zero because costs vary too much to guess; add your own.
