Tesla runs several service centres around the GTA. Book through the Tesla app; many fixes are done by Mobile Service at your home or work.

Most GTA owners charge at home overnight. On the Ontario Energy Board's Ultra-Low Overnight plan, electricity is 3.9¢/kWh from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. (OEB prices from November 1, 2025, before delivery, regulatory charges and HST). On-peak (weekdays 4–9 p.m.) is 39.1¢, so set a scheduled charge. Run your own numbers in the charging cost calculator, and see home charging for Level 1 vs Level 2.

For road trips, the Tesla app and in-car map show live Supercharger availability and pricing along the 401, 400 and QEW corridors.

With Ontario green licence plates, you can drive solo in HOV lanes and use the HOT lanes on 400-series highways and the QEW at no cost (ontario.ca). Green plates are optional, cost the same as regular plates and are only issued at ServiceOntario centres. Highway 407 ETR is a private toll road, and green plates don't make it free. Expect noticeably less range in January: NRCan says up to 25–30% in extreme cold. Precondition from the app while you're still plugged in, use Scheduled Departure, and fit proper winter tires. See the winter guide.
